If you know anything about Tough Mudder you know that we’re pretty proud of what we do, especially our mud and obstacles. We don’t mind tooting our own horn when it comes to thinking up and creating next level mud run challenges for Mudders to face out on course – because if you can’t celebrate yourself who will?
We’re happy to say it because we know it’s a FACT. We have the best damn obstacles on this blue and green (and orange) planet. Don’t believe us? Check out the best mud run obstacles we’ve got to offer, comin’ straight at you.
Block Ness Monster
Our number one rated teamwork obstacle, it simply doesn’t get better than Block Ness Monster. Not only is it ridiculously fun and hilarious to wrestle with Nessy, it also requires a ton of teamwork.
And not just from your mates, it will take everyone in the water to push and pull to propel participants over the blocks.
Mud Mile
Those without a orange headband often boggle at why we love to play in the mud, but take one look at the friends, family and colleagues laughing, dancing, playing and working together through Mud Mile and you’ll understand.
It’s big, it’s dirty, it’s slippery and you won’t see anything else like it.
Arctic Enema
Some will argue it’s not really an obstacle, but fear is an obstacle to all of us.
You might hate Arctic Enema, we certainly understand why but when you come out the other side, that feeling of pushing through your own mental and physical barriers is what really gives you the buzz.
Still not convinced? At the very least it’s a brilliant talking point.
Electroshock Therapy
Who wouldn’t want a muddy, hurdle ridden obstacle with hanging electric cables at the end of their mud run?
Sprint (or crawl) towards that finish line with your teammates. Don’t let the zapping sounds put you off.
Pitfall
Could it be a list of the best mud obstacles without featuring Pitfall…we think not. Not only a deceptively deep and muddy feat but it also makes for some grade A spectator entertainment.
