The festive season is right around the corner and we know many of you will be looking for festive kid’s Christmas activities to keep your Lidl Mudders busy. With the help of our friends at Lidl we’ve come up with three simple Christmas challenges that will get the whole family moving and excited for the big day.
Jingle Bell Rock
Lidl Mudders love getting active and overcoming obstacles, and that’s no different at Christmas. Set up your very own Lidl Mudder course in or outdoors, but make sure you attach some jingle bells and decorations to obstacles along the way. The aim of the game is to avoid ringing the bells as you complete the course. We’re sure you’ll do tree-mendously.
Counting Down the Days
It’s time to mark the Christmas countdown. Prepare for the big day by making your very own, homemade advent fitness calendar. Write down some of your favourite Lidl Mudder exercises and pop twelve of them into an envelope. It can be anything from star jumps and sprints to roly polys (don’t forget you can get more ideas from our Lidl Mudder video series). On the first day your Lidl Mudder will do twelve of the chosen exercise, then the next day eleven, all the way until Christmas day when they can do one – we suggest a very big celebratory jump.
A white Christmas is a pretty rare sight in the UK these days, so bring the glitter of snow indoors instead. All you need is some cotton wool, straws and a cup. The aim of the game is to fill your cup with as many cotton snowballs as possible by sucking the straw and holding your breath until the snowball reaches into the cup. Get the whole family involved with this one and race against the clock. Don’t forget to wear your Christmas jumper for some extra festive magic.
