Hands up, who was loving the rain and thunderstorms this week as much as us? Oh how we rejoiced in the hope it would bring slightly cooler weather. Nope, it’s just as hot now as the centre of the actual sun and it looks like it’s here to stay for a while. Don’t fear though, we have another simple recipe from our friends at PhD Nutrition to keep you cool in this hot sticky weather.
Protein Packed Ice Lolly
Ingredients Required:
1 scoop of Intra BCAA+ Watermelon
A handful of strawberries (or other fruit of your choice)
175ml of water
Ice lolly moulds
Instructions
1. Cut the strawberries (or other fruit) into small pieces and pop them into the bottom of the ice lolly mould.
2. In a protein shaker, or a bowl with a whisk, mix 1 scoop of Intra BCAA+ with 175ml water.
3. Shake or stir well and pour into ice lolly moulds.
4. Leave in the freezer for 4 hours, or ideally overnight, to set.
